Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club have expressed their regret to their teeming supporters for disappointing them during their game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The Rainbow club lost 2-0 for the second time in a friendly game between their arch rivals at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday after losing by the same margin in the first leg a week ago.
But the club has expressed their deepest apology to the fans for not making them happy with victory although they promised earlier to avoid a second successive defeat in the hands of their sworn nemesis.
Expressing their apology in a tweet the club also showed appreciation to the fans for travelling from various parts of the country to come and support them but regret not making their return journey a joyous one and hope to bounce back stronger and  triumphant in their next encounter
"Accra Hearts of Oak would like to thank all our supporters that made this journey. We are just sorry we couldn't send you home victorious", the tweet stated.
Both teams played a two leg match at the Baba Yara Stadium to raise funds to support their clubs after the government suspended all Ghana Football Association (GFA) organised football activities in the country following the expose' of corrupt activities by some officials of the FA by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in his #12 video.
The two teams are scheduled to play again on October 28 for the J.A Kufuor cup at the Baba Yara stadium.
