The CEO of Budget Cash and Carry Limited, Nana Egyir Aggrey, has presented GH¢10,000 to the Ghana National Supporters Union (GHANSU) to enable them to support the Black Starlets in their Africa Youth Championship qualifying campaign in Niger.

The presentation ceremony took place last Tuesday at the offices of Budget Cash and Carry at Tema.

Nana Aggrey, who is also the Mawerehene of Akuapem, reaffirmed his zeal to support all sporting disciplines in the country.
He stressed that at the time when the Ghana Football Association is bedeviled with challenges, it was only prudent for well-meaning Ghanaians to come in and support the various national teams.

"In this stead my outfit has decided to support GHANSU to travel to Niger to support the Starlets to win the WAFU competition," he   explained.

The Starlets are currently competing in the West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Zone B competition being hosted by Niger and are scheduled to play Niger on Wednesday in their first game.

Abraham Boakye, alias One Man Supporter, who received the check for GH¢10,000 expressed gratitude to Nana Aggrey for his continuous support for the Union in the past years.

He promised that GHANSU would whip up support for the Starlets to win the tournament.
