Ashantigold SC defender Eric Donkor has expressed his excitement after aiding the club to clinch the maiden Betway Cup on Sunday.
Ashgold won the trophy after trashing Tarkwa-based Medeama SC 4-0 in the final played at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
The Miners beat Liberty Professionals 2-1 in their opening match before meeting Medeama in the final.
“This is all I live and play for "Trophies". A proper team player Happy to have won my first silverware with Ashantigold SC Betway Cup 2019,” Donkor tweeted after the game.

Ashgold’s Richard Ella Djodi won the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.
Donkor joined Kumasi Asante Kotoko from Winneba-based Windy Professionals and lasted seven years with the club winning three league titles and two FA cups.
He joined Ashgold on a two-year deal on Wednesday, May 16 after his contract was terminated at Kotoko under bizarre circumstances.
