Former Ghana International, Otto Addo, is due to return to his former club, Borussia Dortmund, as an assistant manager.
The 43-year old trainer spent six seasons at the Signal Iduna Park, scoring 11 goals in 75 appearances between 1999 and 2005.
He is currently an assistant coach at rival club, Borussia Möenchengladbach, but will join Lucien Favre's technical staff next season.
Dortmund posted on Twitter: “Delighted to announce the return of former Borussia Dortmund player, Otto Addo, who will serve as an assistant coach focusing on youth development!.”
Addo, who scouted for Ghana’s Black Stars between 2013 and 2015, will serve as a link between the senior team and the youth team, especially to oversee the promotion of youth players to the first team.
He won the Bundesliga title with Borussia Dortmund in the 2001-2002 season and helped the club to reach the UEFA Cup final in the same season.
Addo represented Ghana at the FIFA World Cup in Germany 2006, making two appearances and helping the West African nation to progress to the round 16 stage.
