Kwaitoo appointed to serve on Referees Committee

Staff Writer of the Graphic Sports, Samuel Ebo Kwaitoo, has been appointed to serve on the Referees Committee by the Normalisation committee of the Ghana Football Association.

The experienced journalist and columnist with the country’s best selling sports newspaper would be serving on the committee as a member.

The Committee which is chaired by Naa Odofoley Nortey, also has Carl Ashie, Justice Yeboah, and Emmanuella Aglago as members.

Mr Kwaitoo would bring his rich experience to the committee from his over two decades of writing on sporting issues and particularly on football in the country.

He has covered several international competitions across the world including the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, AFCON 2000, 2006,2008 and 2010 as well as the 2001 Under-20 Africa championship in Ethiopia.

Until the #12 expose’ on corruption in Ghana football in June 2018 by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the astute writer also served on the MTN FA cup committee where together with his team, delivered what is considered to be one of the most successful and well-organised competitions in the country.

He is also a member of the National teams committee which was constituted by the Normalisation Committee to advise them on matters related to the national teams.
