Ghana Premier League giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, are set to announce the signing of three new players, Justice Blay, Kelvin Andoh, Kwame Baah, to beef up the current squad.
Blay, a former playmaker of Medeama SC, joins the Porcupine Warriors alongside goalkeeper, Kwame Baah, formerly of Inter Allies, and Kelvin Andoh who once featured for Wa All Stars.
The trio successfully underwent medicals on Thursday.
Last Tuesday, Medeama SC stated on their twitter handle that Blay had been released to Kotoko for a season.
“BREAK: We have reached an agreement with @AsanteKotoko_SC over the transfer of Justice Blay. The midfielder will join @AsanteKotoko_SC on a season long loan. He will undergo a medical in Kumasi on Wednesday. We wish him well,” the twitter page stated.
However, the contracts details of Baah, Black Meteors’ first choice goalkeeper, and Andoh were not disclosed.
The trio are the first batch of players signed by the club for their 2019/20 CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently hunting for a new coach after the sudden departure of coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor.
