Anthony Martial has postponed his Manchester United contract talks until Jose Mourinho’s future is sorted.
The 22-year-old attacker fell out with the Old Trafford manager in the summer after he left United’s pre-season tour for the birth of his son. He was then fined more than £100,000 for not returning to the club’s tour.
Martial has subsequently only appeared once this season, lasting an hour in the 3-2 defeat at Brighton last month.

The winger had been in talks to extend his stay since the end of last season, but The Sun reports he is unwilling to commit while still out of favour.
While Mourinho would be happy to see the Frenchman leave, United’s hierarchy is keen to keep Martial, who joined three years ago from Monaco in a deal that could cost £57.6million.
He currently has one year left on his original deal, with the club holding an option for another year.
United will almost certainly trigger his extra year, but his value would fall without a fresh contract agreed.
There is no denying the fact that relationship between the player and manager has been frosty in recent times.
Last August, Mourinho confirmed that he fined the Frenchman, saying he is the only player he had sanctioned since his arrival at Manchester United.
Although he did not go into details on when or why he fined the 22-year-old, he suggested it was for something serious.
"I'm here for two years and a couple of months and the only player that has been fined is Anthony Martial, so it is not easy to be fined here," he told reporters on Friday.
During the pre-season, things almost got to a head as Mourinho denied knowledge over why Martial had not remained with the team in Miami but chose to attend the birth of his child, drawing a response from the forward.
Asked about why Martial was not in Miami with the team during the pre-season, Mourinho, said he had no idea when the striker would return to training and club officials were also unable to explain why the player had not flown back to the USA amid rumours the France international was trying to force his way out of the club.
Martial then tweeted a day later that he had remained in France because there were complications with the birth of his child and had to stay back to support his partner.
“Thanks for all your posts,” Martial wrote on Twitter. “My little Swan is fine but for the mother it is harder. Thanks to God she is better now. Sorry but my family will always come first, back tomorrow in Manchester.”
The French winger has had a difficult time at Old Trafford since the Portuguese replaced Louis van Gaal at the helm in 2016 and tensions seemed to increase over the close season.
Martial has been linked with a move away from United for some time and his agent stated in June that he wants to leave the club, but Mourinho suggested he would not be allowed to leave .
