German Bundesliga III side, Paderborn SC, have announced the capture of Ghanaian international, Bernard Terkpetey, from Schalke 04 on a permanent deal.
Terkpetey will join Paderborn ahead of the upcoming season and is expected to play a vital role in their bid to get the club back to Bundesliga II.
The 20-year-old striker is moving from Schalke after joining the Bundesliga side in 2016 from Ghanaian Unistar Soccer Academy and will be meeting his teammates soon.
However, Schalke will have the chance to re-sign the Ghanaian in the future should he impress the club after instituting a buy-back option in the deal.
Terkpetey was part of Ghana's Black Stars team at the 2017 of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Gabon.
