The awards were Gold in the export of cashew, Gold in the export of animal feed and the most Diversified Exporter Company for the year 2015, making them the highest awardees for the night.

The awards were picked by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr James Gnanaraj, and the Managing Director, Mr Immanuel Paulraj, on behalf of the company.

They were accompanied by some members of staff who were obviously elated by the achievements.

Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited was established in January 2008 by Mr Gnanaraj and Mr Paulraj.

It started with the export of teak wood and later widened its business by exporting rosewood, scrap metals such as HMS 1 and 2, aluminium scrap, copper scrap, battery scrap and plastic scrap.

It now exports cashew nuts, animal feed, soya beans, shea nuts, timber and other agricultural products.

Later in a speech, Mr Gnanaraj expressed the company’s appreciation for the honour and the recognition given to the company, an indication that the country appreciated its contribution towards building a strong economy for the nation.

“These awards will spur us up and prompt us to do more to ensure that we pick up a lot of awards next year,” he said.

In the coming year, Mr Paulraj said Kingdom Exim would continue to do more for the benefit of the nation.

“We see Kingdom Exim Ghana growing and expanding its frontiers across the West African sub-region in the not-too-distant future,” he added.
