Poetry recitals, choreography, drama and dance were part of activities for the celebration, while hardworking students were awarded prizes.

At the Mummy’s Glory Montessori at Agyirigano, Ms Rosemund A. Keteku, the Adentan Municipal Director of Education, reminded parents that education was a continuous process of learning, aimed at empowering the children to discover their potentials; reports Severious Kale-Dery.

For her part, the Proprietress of the school, Mrs Patricia Nyarko, congratulated the graduates for successfully going through pre-school education and getting ready for their primary education.

She announced that the school would begin the primary department next academic year.

Wilda Evans reports that the Chief Executive Officer of the Happy Kids School at Kwashieman, Ms Jemima N. Nartey, encouraged parents to invest in their children’s education.

She reminded parents that it was the right of the children to be educated so parents should not shirk their responsibilities.

Twenty-four students from the JHS and 94 pupils from the kindergarten graduated from the school to continue their secondary and primary education, respectively.

At the Revival Educational Complex School at Sakaman in Accra, the Headmistress of the school, Madam Elizabeth Boatemah Gyampoh, praised the leadership of the Holy Ghost Revival Centre Assemblies of God for the support it had extended to the school since its inception six years ago.

She said the school, which began with 12 pupils, could now boast of 166 students and called on parents to continually provide for their children's educational needs.

And at the Eagle International School at West Legon, the Headmistress of the school, Mrs Regina Ohenewaa Sawyerr, appealed to parents, to spend quality time with their children, reports Wilda Evans.

She urged them to constantly monitor and assist their children with their homework always.

''As parents, it's your sole responsibility to nurture your children to improve upon their academic performance in order to reach the highest level of their capabilities,” she advised.
