STARBOW, a locally based airline, has added another BAe 146 aircraft to its fleet.
This brings the carrier’s total fleet to four and makes it the largest Ghanaian based airline.
According to the Head of Commercial of Starbow, Mr Andy Smith, the delivery of the new aircraft, which has 97 seats, will enable the company to meet rising domestic demand and also explore new regional and domestic route opportunities.
“We have experienced strong interest from the market for our dedicated charter services and this extra aircraft will allow us to further grow this area of business,” he said.
The new aircraft arrived at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on December 16 and is currently being prepared for “entry into service.”
