Feedback time - Current readers of the Junior Graphic share their experiences with the paper

The Junior Graphic is a newspaper made for children. The paper has helped the youth of Ghana in a lot of ways from improving their vocabulary to preparing them for the Basic Education Certification Examination (BECE).

So on this occasion of its anniversary, 1 would like to take this opportunity to wish the Junior Graphic a happy 20th Anniversary.

Some benefits we have derived from buying and reading the Junior Graphic every week are that the paper has helped us to understand a lot of things that have been going on in our country by breaking it down to our level.

This helps us children to understand what is going on in our country.

I love the Aunty Betty column because it teaches proper moral values and teaches us to desist from teasing, negative peer pressure, maltreating others, bullying etc.

One thing that I think would help improve the Junior Graphic is to add one more page to the Rack Your Brain section to feature more subjects such as Social Studies and English.

I pray that the Junior Graphic will stay forever to continue to help the upcoming generations. All I want to say is thank you and Ayekoo!

I have been reading the Junior Graphic for the past five years and I have not regretted buying the paper to read every week.

The paper has helped me to improve myself academically in areas such as essay-writing. It has boosted my confidence because of  I read and reviewed the paper every Thursday when members of the Fan Club used to meet.
I

want the Junior Graphic to organise excursions for all clubs to some tourist sites and also create a platform for members of fan clubs in other schools to meet.

I wish the Junior Graphic well in all its endeavours. Happy anniversary!

I was introduced to the Junior Graphic when I was very young.

My cousin used to encourage me to write articles to the Junior Graphic which I did quite often.

Anytime my article was published, I felt so proud and my teachers would tell the other students to emulate me.

I got three of my articles published and I have kept them safely somewhere.

I love everything about the Junior Graphic. I would like them to give students the best so that we will learn more to improve ourselves.

Long live the Junior Graphic, long live the youth of Ghana.

Every Wednesday, my mother gives me money to buy the Junior Graphic because she knows it would help me read more.

When the six new regions were created, we learnt the names  in the Junior Graphic. What I love about the Junior Graphic is the short stories and poems written by children for publication. This is because some of the story lines look so real that it makes me happy that some children are so creative.

I have learnt a lot and while I am at home, I have written some of my own short stories. It was not easy but I was able to do it which I hope would be published when my teacher sends them to the Junior Graphic.

The Junior Graphic is a good reading material and we love it. Happy 20th birthday.

I would like the Junior Graphic to publish more gospel songs since some of the boys buy the paper because of the lyrics behind it and not because they want to read to acquire knowledge.
When the boys saw that the lyrics in that week’s edition of the paper was a hip life song, they would buy it purposely to sing the whole day and disturb other students in class which sometimes caused the teachers to collect our papers until classes were over.
We also want more puzzles.
Apart from this, I love everything about the paper. Happy birthday, Junior Graphic.

For me, the Junior Graphic should be recommended by the Minister of Education as compulsory for all schoolchildren to have access to. This is because it is very educative and informative.

There is nothing I want the Junior Graphic to change but I want it to add more science and mathematics questions and answers to what is published each week.

At the moment, it is not enough at all because we want to be able to solve as many questions as possible.

I wish the Junior Graphic a happy 20th birthday and we want them to give us only the best.
