The production, with a cast that includes Adjetey Anang, Naa Ashorkor, Pearl Darkey, Prince Amoabeng and Angela Lartey, combines music and poetry to explain love, sex and intimacy in relationships.

The story revolves around Mr Dzata (Adjetey Anang) whose household is thrown into a frenzy when Kobby Dzata (Prince Amoabeng), their 18-year-old son declares his intention to wed Kukua (Pearl Darkey) his 18-year-old sweetheart.

When the young people fail to change their plan after intense persuasion from many quarters, Mr & Mrs Dzata (Adjetey Anang and Naa Ashorkor) must devise and deploy a scheme to prevent the couple from going ahead with their ‘outrageous demands.’

The director of the work told The Mirror that though it was in 12 parts, it would be easy for the audience to follow as every chapter tackled different societal issues.

He said the first chapter, which was performed in Kumasi last month, received positive feedback and a similar reaction was being expected of the Accra show scheduled for 4.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.
