Couple wants killer son hanged, buried far away

A Kenyan couple who feel ashamed at the discovery that their son of many years is the serial killer the entire community has been looking for, say they want the ultimate penalty for him, and when he dies, he should be buried far away so they won’t have to be reminded of him.

Better still Mr. Joseph Okumu Nyateng’ and his wife, Syprose Okumu, want the body of their wayward 25-year-old son, Harrison Okumu also known as ‘Boyi’ to be dissolved in concentrated sulphuric acid never to be remembered again.

The Daily Nation reports that news of Harrison Okumu’s serial killings, including an instance in which his ‘victim had an iron rod forced through his anus all the way to his abdomen’, has not only shocked residents of Miguye, in Nyando constituency of Kisumu County, it has also infuriated them.
