Royal Jordanian Airline upbeat about Ghana
Royal Jordanian Airline is upbeat about business prospects in the country as it becomes the latest airline from the Middle East to join the fleet of airlines flying in and out of the country.

Ghana is the first station in West Africa where the airline would be plying the Accra-Lagos-Amman route; a recognition of the country’s conducive business climate.
The country and Airport Manager of Royal Jodanian, Mr Anir Nosrati, told the Daily Graphic during its inaugural flight in Accra last Wednesday that for a start, the airline would introduce two flights a week and increase the number as business improved.
He also stated that the airline currently flew to 60 destinations across the world, linking the Far East to Europe and some parts of Africa.
“We are constantly working on upgrading our fleet, expanding our network of regional and global destinations, as well as developing and enhancing our services. All this is being done to meet your high expectations of Royal Jordanian,” Mr Nostrati stressed.
The management of Royal Jodanian, he explained, signed a bilateral agreement with the Government of Ghana in 2011 after which the airline passed an inspection test conducted by the Ghanaian authorities, paving the way for the start of business in Ghana.
The Country Manager was upbeat about Ghana’s business prospects and expressed his resolve to promote business opportunities for the mutual benefit of Ghanaians and Jordan.
To further promote the tourism potentials of the two countries, Mr Nostrati said the Jordan Tourist Authority and the Ghana Tourism Authority would cooperate to organise exchange programmes that would open up tourism opportunities in the two countries.
