Ga Traditional Council join calls for release of Montie 3

The Ga Traditional Council has joined calls for the release of the Montie 3 from prison and consequently indicated readiness to sign the petition book which is being used to solicit signatures to impress on President Mahama to grant pardon to the convicts.

Led by Nii Duodu Nsaki, acting president, the council in a statement explained that it was in the spirit of reconciliation from the Homowo [Hooting at hunger] and was ready to support the petition to prevail on the President to grant mercy to the convicts.
The council has planned to address a press conference to explain their position later on Monday.
