Afro Arab Group CEO dedicates 40Underforty Africa Award to Youth in Nima and Maamobi
The CEO and Founder of the Afro Arab Group of Companies, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, has dedicated his recent award to the youth from the Nima and Maamobi communities in Accra, Ghana.
Alhaji Amadu was recognized as the top performer in the banking and finance category at the 40underforty Africa Awards ceremony held at the Leonardo Hotel-Sandton in South Africa on March 25, 2023.

In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Amadu expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the event and thanked the Almighty Allah for his mercies.
He also called on global investors to do business in Africa, highlighting Ghana as the gateway to the continent due to its abundant natural resources.
The 40underforty Africa Awards recognizes young, influential Ghanaians making significant contributions in various sectors of the economy.
Alhaji Amadu's dedication of his award to the youth in Nima and Maamobi underscores his commitment to supporting underprivileged communities in Ghana.
"Alhamdulillah, I was born and bred in Maamobi a deprived community in Ghana but I have been able to break the odds to become an entrepreneur, philanthropist and businessman. I want to dedicate this award to the youth in the Zongos most especially those from Maamobi and Nima," he said.
"First of all, Let me thank the Almighty Allah for his mercies. Let me applaud the organisers of this esteemed award for their superb work. The packaging is outstanding. Honesty is hard to put this feeling into words. I'm honoured to be the first in the banking and finance category. I'm proud to be an African tonight."
