Disabled supporters to cheer local Stars

The National Disabled Supporters Union will besiege the Accra Stadium on Sunday to cheer the local Black Stars to victory against Mali in a friendly international match.

Sunday’s friendly forms part of the preparations by the local Stars ahead of the CHAN tournament in South Africa next January.

The Disabled Supporters, who are being sponsored by Seasons Travel & Tours International (ST&TI), will also organise a musical entertainment three days later (on Christmas Day) at the National Theatre.

The massive sports and musical show will feature a host of top local and international artistes, including D-Black and Chemphe.

There will also be in attendance the Akropong School for the blind.

According to ST&TI, the Christmas Day event which is part of activities to raise funds for the sporting activities of the National Disabled Supporters, will attract gate fees of GH¢30.00 for Popular Stand and GH¢50.00 for VIP Stand.

There will be a raffle draw for which the winner will get a free visa, ticket and accomodation to watch the Black Stars at the World Cup in Brazil.

The second and third runner-ups will each also get a free visa, ticket and accomodation to watch the local Black Stars at the CHAN tournament in South Africa in January
