Mrs Antwi, who was speaking at the maiden edition of a Career Day organised by the school, advised children to take their studies seriously so they could achieve their goals.

The celebration was to mark the 27th anniversary of the school. The purpose  was to broaden the minds of the children and expose them to some professions.

According to her, when children wore the uniforms of the professions they aspired to in future, it motivated them to work towards it.

Daniel Oppong, a JHS three student and Boys’ Prefect of the school, said he was very happy when they were informed that the school was going to have a Career Day.

“I believe this Career Day celebration will help my mates and I know what we want to be in future,” he said.
Vanessa Oparebea Akuffo, a class five pupil, said she believed that the Career Day was going to help her know what exactly she wanted to be in future.

She said she wanted to be a doctor in future and was studying very hard to achieve that goal.
Donelle Ayisala, another class five pupil, said if the Career Day was held continuously, it would help her mates know what they wanted to be in future.

She said the celebration had made her aware that she wanted to be a scientist.
