He said any division among them would not only undermine their quest to win the trust of floating voters in the constituency but would also affect their chances of propagating the good works of the NPP government to the electorate.

Mr Sarpong gave the assurance when he presented beverages to the Muslim community in the constituency to support them in their fasting.
As part of his interaction with the members, he also presented several chairs to the party executive as his contribution to furnishing the party office at Potsin, the constituency capital, near Kasoa.
“We lost the Parliamentary seat to the NDC during the last election. Our research indicates that there was voting apathy among our members because supporters voted skirt and blouse. Regrettably, instead of coming together to devise means of retrieving the seat from our political opponents, we have failed to reconcile our members, hence my plea for all members to come together to enable us to retrieve the seat from our opponents,” Mr Sarpong advised.
“Naturally, I am a unifier, so I am determined to bring all factions together for the love of the party and by this, I am very certain that we will win the seat for the NPP.
Mr Sarpong, who has expressed interest in contesting for the parliamentary primary of the NPP when it is opened, indicated that his desire to venture into politics was to support the growth of the party, in particular, and the socio-economic development of the people in the constituency in general.
He said since many of the youth in the constituency have skills, he would liaise with the District Football Association (DFA) to unearth and nurture their talents to enable them to play at the highest level.
This, he noted, would enable the constituency to produce world-class footballers who will contribute to the accelerated development of the constituency.
