MTN Invitational Golf tournament on Friday

The country’s finest golfers are expected to converge at the Achimota Golf Club on Friday to battle for the enviable annual MTN Invitational golf tournament trophy.

Considered as one of the most prestigious and important tournaments in the golfing calendar of the country, the game is expected to tee-off at 11am.

This year, about 100 golfers are expected to compete in the tournament which has seen some great golfers participate.

Notable among golfers expected to battle for honours are last year’s winner, Frank Avorsey who is expected to defend his title. Ayoub Ghandour and Eric Gene who performed exceptionally well during last year’s game are also likely to play.

Last year, Kwasi Amoafo-Yeboah who also demonstrated great skill to win the seniors category could also defend his title likewise Maggie Owusu Baah who won the ladies seniors category.
