Minority brands Ofori-Atta 'Minister of Loans'

The Minister of Finance, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta was greeted with cheers of "Loan Stars" and "Minister for Loans" by the Minority in Parliament when he arrived in the Chamber of Parliament Thursday morning to present the mid-year budget review.

Graphic Online's Kweku Zurek reported from the Chamber of Parliament that, shortly after the Speaker invited Mr Ofori-Atta to read the budget, members of the Minority side started jeering him.

There were many empty seats in the Chamber on both sides.
