Akzonobel executives visit Coral Paints Ghana

Africa Marketing Brand Manager of Dulux South Africa, Ms Jackie Lezar and Export Development Manager for Africa, Mr Henrique Da Costa have paid a working visit to Coral Paints Ghana to see the progress of the company and see how best to help make the products of the company more acceptable to the local market.

Ms Lezar’s first visit to Coral Paints Ghana was in early 2017 to participate in a Colour Workshop.  This year, she made the trip with Mr Da Costa to finalise discussions on marketing strategy and direction for the year.

Speaking during the visit, Mr Da Costa said “I was looking forward to my first visit to Coral Paints Ghana so I can study the local market and see where I can help to further develop it.  I was also excited to meet the team behind all the hard work and dedication I had heard about.”

The Dulux executives were also given a tour of the newly renovated Main Showroom at Kojo Thompson Road at Adabraka. After 13 years, Coral Paints Ghana refurbished its showroom. The visitors had the opportunity to see the modern equipment and facilities  that had now been installed to boost business.        

“The frequent trips of our partners from Akzonobel are crucial to us as a growing business and their guidance and support are strong affirmations to a great working relationship. We are grateful for their continuous support,” said Mr Yaw Bonnah Sarpong, the General Manager of Coral Paints.

The Akzonobel Group has operations in more than 80 countries and its Dulux brand has been on the worldwide retail market since 1953.  It was introduced by Coral Paints Ghana to the local paint market in 2010 to augment the already existing Coral Paints portfolio.  

In Ghana, Togo and Burkina Faso, Coral Paints Ghana is the sole representative of Akzonobel.
