Table Tennis League thrills Immigration still lead pack

Ghana Immigration Service  take on the Ghana Army in the second week of the second round of the ongoing national table tennis league  at the D.G.Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Accra  Sports Stadium tomorrow.

In other thrilling encounters, Navy face  Prison Service, Team Baboo clash with Fire, Police engage GRA while Kings Royal Academy play Mamprobi Synergy before Power Club encounter Madina Stars.

The final first round of matches will also witness Ashanti Monetary County (ASMC) against Tesano Spinners and EMEFS versus Koforidua Whyte Loopers.

In the second round of matches of the day, Immigration face-off with Prisons, Army take on  Fire, Navy  lock horns with GRA while Team Baboo engage Mamprobi Synergy in a cagey affair.

The Ghana Police Service will play Madina Stars, Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) play Tesano Spinners, Power Club engage Loopers with  ASMC facing EMEFS.

In the  first week clashes of the second round honoured last week, the Ghana Revenue Authority shocked league favourites, Immigration, with a 3-1 defeat in a pulsating encounter which also  featiured national players Cynthia Kwabi and Hilda Agbota in the women’s fray.

The result moves  GRA to second position with 10 points, with Ghana Police on top with 13 points.

In other ladies’ encounters, Navy beat Army 3-0 while Police demolished EMEFS 3-0.
