Unveiling the three sensational World Map Afro-pop artistes

In an era where afro-pop music is thriving, some unique talents have emerged and nabbed by the World Map Record label, as they have been tipped to make exploits in the competitive Ghanaian music industry.

After joining World Map Records earlier in the year, the three Afro-pop prodigies have illuminated in the music circles, especially showcasing their musical prowess on the biggest live music television show in the country “Music Music" and other platforms.

JC-Dyck

Born John Charles Elikem Kofi Van Dyck, JC-Dyck is a Ghanaian-Nigerian versatile recording artiste, songwriter and a performer from Elmina in Ghana.

He is one of the fastest rising artistes in Africa considering his exceptional unique vocals.

According to JC-Dyck, he had a strong passion for doing music when growing up, so as early as six years, he was a drummer in church and started singing in church at nine years.

He also revealed his Junior High School education at Springs Preparatory School at Ho, as he proceeded to the Ideal College, Madina, Accra.

JC-Dyck revealed his dream of putting Ghana on the World map and believes the stage was set for him to live his dream of doing music.

Pacy

Born Mordey Patricia Sedinam Kafui, Pacy is a Ghanaian Afro-beat act, songwriter and a performer from the Volta Region, Taviefe Aviefe to be precise.

According to Pacy, she started music when she was young and that her lovely voice was from the fact that she received voice training from some of her friends and family members at a tender age, as she also sung in church.

She attended Ho-Kpodzi EP Junior High School and had her secondary education at Modern College of Commerce.

Pacy revealed that, she was an emotional singer and was inspired by Efya from Ghana, Tiwa Savage from Nigeria and Jamaica' Spice.

"I understand that the music game is tough but with God, hardworking, determination, respect, originality and consistency, I would get to the top."

Lega

Born Godsway Tome, Lega is an afro-pop prodigy, songwriter and a rapper, who hails partly from Anloga and Aflao in the Volta Region.

According to the afro-pop prodigy, he started professional music in 2014 and has performed on big stages in the Volta Region.

He had his basic education in Ho and currently studying Information Technology (IT) at the Ho Technical University.

Lega started exhibiting signs of an all-around entertainer at an early age, playing drums and also dancing in school.

Lega envisages taking his career to another level especially with World Map Records coming on board to propel him to greater heights.

Notably, these three artistes have released their maiden single under their new record label. Lega's ''Dem go hear am'' bang, Pacy's controversial '' Koti Beka'' and JC's love tune ''Philomina''.
