The two have been dragged to the GFA's Player Status Committee by Medeama over breach of contract.

Medeama SC are demanding compensation totalling GH¢387,000 (GH¢320,000 from Boadu and GH¢67,000 from Hamza) after the two technical handlers resigned from the Tarkwa-based club and joined the Phobians in February.

A Hearts source told the Graphic Sports that the club would wait for the verdict of the committee but was ready to deploy all legal means to ensure their coaches were vindicated because the club procured their services legitimately.

The Graphic Sports understands that Hearts' advisers have written to Medeama to seek clarification because they do not understand why the club is demanding compensation when Hearts have fulfilled all requisite requirements to secure the services of the coaches.

“Medeama don’t have an issue with us [Hearts], they have an issue with the coach but our lawyers have also responded to them," said a source at Hearts.

“The Player Status Committee sat on the issue last Thursday [May 6] and we are waiting for the outcome based on which we will also know the next action to take. But we are ready to deploy our legal experts to fight this case, if need be, especially as Hearts settled every commitment and ensured the coach had no outstanding liability before engaging him."
