Why Amidu thinks Ablakwa is same as Andrews Krow and Ohenenana Bronti Krow

Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mr Martin Amidu and the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Mr Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa have been back and forth this week about the authorship of an article which Mr Amidu insists insulted him.

Whilst Mr Amidu claims Mr Ablakwa authored the said article - “ Martin Amidu's Hate Agenda’…” - using the pseudonym – Andrews Krow - on ModernGhana.com of 5th September 2017, Mr Ablakwa insists he has authored no such article.

Mr Andrews Krow, the author of the said article has since cleared the air and explained Mr Ablakwa did not write the said article as alleged by Mr Amidu.

He explained that he either uses Andrews Krow or the pseudonym - Ohenenana Obonti Krow - for his articles.

Checks by Graphic Online to help clarify the issue indicates that an article written by Mr Ablakwa on the Kenyan elections following the Supreme Court ruling which was published by a number of online portals with his by-line was also published by ModernGhana.com but with the by-line of Andrews Krow as the author at the top and Mr Ablakwa’s name and position in Parliament at the footer. (Pictured below).

That inconsistency and error is what Mr Amidu referred to in his statement whilst quoting the ModernGhana.com version and therefore concluded that Andrews Krow was same as Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

Following Mr Krows explanation on Wednesday, Mr Ablakwa issued another statement (below):

I acknowledge the response of the Hon. Martin A.B.K. Amidu to my most sincere and honest denial in which I assert my innocence and still insist in all truth and good conscience that I have authored no such article seeking to malign or calumniate the former Honourable Attorney General and Minister of Justice.

The author of the articles in question, Mr. Andrews Krow also known as Ohenenana Obonti Krow is a very well known activist of the NDC who apparently was recently honoured by our party for his contributions. Besides, I have since read Mr. Krow's public statement taking responsibility for the said articles. Please see: ANDREWS KROW (OHENENANA OBONTI KROW), IS NOT SAMUEL OKUDZETO ABLAKWA http://ghanapoliticsonline.com/andrews-krow-ohenenana-obonti-krow-is-not-samuel-okudzeto-ablakwa

Clearly, Andrews Krow (aka Ohenenana Obonti Krow) cannot be a pseudonym and therefore my initial denial cannot be mischievous.

"It may be useful to refer to an independent verification carried out by Citifmonline.com which vindicates the truth in this matter. Please see: https://citifmonline.com/2017/09/12/ive-not-attacked-amidu-in-any-article-ablakwa

I hope this clarifies any lingering doubt in the minds of discerning Ghanaians.

As always, Truth shall triumph.

God be with you, Sir.

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP)
