His stool name is Nana Dwapa Ameyaw II. Following his installation, Nana Ameyaw automatically assumes the position of Nifahene of the Agona Traditional Area.

He succeeded Nana  Asamoa Tooto following his demise.

The Omanhene  of the Agona Traditional Area, Nana Frimpong Anokye Ababio, swore the new chief in at a durbar of chiefs and people drawn from all parts of the traditional area.

He advised the people of Bipoa to unite and rally behind the new Bipoahene in order to speed up development of the town.

He said even though Bipoa was one of the seven big towns in the area, it lacked many social amenities. He said he was hopeful, however, that with Nana Ameyaw on the scene, things would begin to take on a new shape, particularly with regard to the town’s development.

He reminded the people of the significant position that the Dwapa Stool of Bipoa held in Asante tradition since it had direct linkage to the legendary Okomfo Anokye.

Nana Ameyaw assured the people that he would work in close collaboration with the chiefs, elders and people to bring about improvement in the standards of living in the area.

He promised to lay bare his experience and expertise in the traditional area and ensure that the traditional area attracted  investors.
