Go back to your roots – Apostle Kwadwo Safo
The Founder and Leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, has reiterated the need for Ghanaians to go back to their roots and follow the footpath of their ancestors.
He said the rate at which young people were dying could be due to the disregard for natural foodstuffs and vegetables that God gave to mankind adding that embracing processed foods had been to man’s detriment.
He said man had contaminated foodstuff and the land with chemicals which had rendered most of the food items unwholesome.
Apostle Safo said this when he delivered a Sabbath sermon to members of the Ashanti Region Kristo Asafo Mission at Gyinyase in Kumasi last Saturday.
He stated that, “our ancestors did not destroy the rich and fertile land God gave to them with harmful chemicals such as weedicide.”
According to him, it was easier for plants to germinate and grow well during the days of the forefathers when no chemicals were applied to the land.
“They also planted natural food items to supplement what nature gave to them. These natural and organic food items they consumed gave them a healthy and long life. Today, we have destroyed the rich and fertile land God gave us through modernity by applying harmful chemicals such as weedicide. The rich nutrients and minerals the body needs to grow healthy from natural vegetables have all been destroyed by our irresponsible attitudes,” he remarked.
In addition, he wondered why Christians always blamed God for their woes, adding “God did not create us to suffer but we have created the suffering we are going through. Kindly take a look at how our actions and inactions have destroyed the rivers including the fishes in them.”
He asked Ghanaians to stop exhibiting negative attitudes and to stop their nefarious activities and seek God’s forgiveness.
“If Ghanaians will stop these nefarious activities, pray to God and ask for His forgiveness, God will heal our sick land to make the land fertile and rich as it was in the olden days,” he prophesied.
