Mothers’ Day marked at Dela Cathedral

This year’s Mother’s Day was exceptional at the Ho-Kpodzi Dela Cathedral of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPCG) last Sunday.

The sermon was on the theme: Manifesting the spirit of truth.

A minister of the church, Rev E.K. Agbeti who preached the sermon paid glowing tribute to women for their valiant roles in bringing up children and contributing to progress in society.

He urged men to accord women their deserved respect not only at home but in other spheres of humanity as well.

“Without mothers or women, our society is incomplete,” he pointed out.

The preacher said the loving and caring roles women played in society went far beyond giving birth alone, saying kindness to children and others made every woman a mother.
