His always the unobtrusive-yet-huge presence in the Room...
His the calm voice moderating the stormy Sea...
Unassuming-yet-authoritative Counselor,
Man-of-the-People. Seer without peer,
How soon already, to Yonder Village you've flown!
Be still our hearts, Oh, be still our broken hearts!
Never before like now have we needed you, with our Ranks in disarray, peppered with baffling rancour...
We talk of regrouping the Fold...
Yet our Ranks are depleting...
While we frolic in ego-trips, we fragment our Party!
We need voices like yours, PK, to calm the stormy Sea...

Sadly we bid you farewell, farewell beloved Comrade...
Our hearts are heavy, our eyes swollen, open wide shut with grief...
Could you not have tarried with us for a while longer?
You were our quiet Colossus...
Yet typically, as in other times past, we failed to honour our own as we ought...
Whither the NDC? Whither the discord that we so cherish?
Whither Mother Ghana with gaping wounds?
Whither Ghana whose health was your life-long passion?
The Assembly of Wise Heads is now minus one: minus one who spoke clear-eyed wisdom...
Wisdom to those Who-cared-to-listen...
For a brief Season PKA-A spoke, and how could we ever forget?
Now a new Season is upon us, so trudge on we must, minus our fallen Comrade...
A gentle but steady flame has bowed out to the gusting...
