Angelique, Stonebwoy for Mo Ibrahim Concert

Benin born musician, Angelique Kidjo, continues to thrill her fans in Africa and beyond with her music.

And admirers of the Grammy award winning artiste will have the opportunity to jam to some of her popular songs when she headlines this year’s Mo Ibrahim Concert scheduled for the Independence Square on Saturday, November 21.

 

She will be joined on stage to entertaintain patrons by some of Ghana’s fine artistes which include Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Cabum, Yaa Pono and FIMFIM.

The rest are Rashid Metal, Kankam, Ohemaa Dadao, DJ Mic Smith and MC Eddy Blay.

Sarkodie and Stonebwoy are known to rock patrons with their acts on stage and with Angelique Kidjoe’s energy on stage, it is obvious it will be “fireworks” at the free entry event.

The Mo Ibrahim Concert is an annual show organised by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, an African Foundation which was established with the objective of promoting good governance in Africa.

The concert, held in mid-November every year in a different African country is part of the annual Governance Weekend – the flagship event of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.

The Mo Ibrahim Concert has given the platform for Africans to enjoy music from their roots and beyond and this year’s show is expected to be no different.
