Prinx Pumi hosts peace concert
After releasing songs such as One girl, I love you babe and Hustle, Ishmael Bashiru Pumi known in Showbiz circles as Prinx Pumi is out with a new single titled Jah Bless. The release of the song is a prelude to his upcoming peace concert which is scheduled for Saturday, October 15, at the Jubilee Park in Bolgatanga.

The concert which seeks to promote peace among supporters of all political parties will also have side attractions with a float to promote peace and unity at the upcoming elections.
He told showbiz, “I love my country and with the little support and recognition I have received with my talent, I would love to put it to good use by organising this peace concert for the people of Bolgatanga. It is my passion to preach peace and educate the people about the various voting procedures and rules at polling stations to make sure this election is a peaceful one.”
The young artiste’s love and passion for music started at an early age but he honed his writing skills back in senior high school. In 2008, he recorded his first demo titled campus filla which was labelled controversial because of its lyrical content.
In 2013, he was signed to Fire blasé entertainment and Pumi released his first ever video for another song, Hustle which received massive airplay on radio..
“After all the hype and encouragement I received, I had to let go off my passion for music and focus on furthering my education”, he told Showbiz.
But to affirm his love and passion for music, he released Jorley, which was produced by Denswag after his school.
Drawing inspiration from the musical works of R2Bee’s Mugeez, Rihanna and Sean Paul, the young artiste said his dream is to work with them in future.
