Miray out with 'Scream My Name' video
It’s been almost four months since new female Afro Pop artiste, Miray, released her debut single, Scream My Name, and even before it becomes a hit, the Ghanaian /Ivorian artiste is out with the video.

Miray, whose inspiration she said comes from successful female artistes like Mzbel and Efya proved her worth as one who is ready for serious show business in the video.
The video which was released on September 4 is already being played on MTV Base and Channel O as well as some of the local television stations.
Directed and produced by 5tev3n Films in Dansoman, the video which was shot in location in both Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire tells the story of how women love to spend their time with their partners.
The first scene shows Miray pick her man out on a date. The outing see the couple spend time at many places- a garden, river cruise among others till they finally end their “love journey” in the bathroom.
As has been the in thing among many female artistes in recent times, Miray was seen twerking in the video to the admiration of Atumpan, who was featured on the song and video as well.
“I think I like the response so far from followers on social media. Majority of them are satisfied with the quality of the video but of course, there are others who are not too happy with it. For such people, their concern is that, it is sexually explicit but I don’t think so.
“Yes, there were scenes of kissing but I don’t think that is enough for anyone to categorise the video as sexually explicit”, she told Showbiz last week Thursday.
Signed on to Swagg Luna gh record label, Miray, real name, Miray Mansan Gomont, started her journey into the entertainment world when she participated in a dancing competition at Cote D’Ivoire when she was nine years.
Aside doing music, Miray is a painter, actress and also works behind the scenes as a film writer, producer and director.
The half Ghanaian and half Ivorian ‘outdoored’ herself to the Ghanaian public when she performed alongside Sarkodie, Kwabena Kwabena, Fuse ODG and 2face Idibia at the 24 Nite Concert held in Kumasi last year.
