The forecourt of the AICC, a wide expanse of land, was filled with people from all walks of life, including friends and relations who had gathered to take part in the fun and excitement.

The ceremony started off  with a song ministration from the United Praise Band, who warmed patrons up with exciting gospel tunes. Not quite long after, the brides and their fathers streamed in and were met halfway down an aisle created for their walk to the altar by the bridegrooms who were all beaming with smiles as they led their ladies to their seats. The oldest among the couple for this year’s mass wedding is 75 years old.

Gospel musician Nicholas Omane Acheampong performed his hit song Mahalshalal, Hash Bash, Covenant and Tabitha kum to the admiration of the audience, who joined in singing and danced their hearts away. Gifty Osei was the next act. She  also gave out a splendid performance.

Rev. Arthur Mensah, who delivered the homily, advised the couples to be one in body and spirit as they were one in the sight of the Lord.  After they had taken their vows, they kissed to the delight of everyone present. Among the  invited guests were Rev. Sam  Korankye Ankrah of the

Royal House Chapel, Bishop James Saah of the Action Faith Chapel and Nene Kukrubuo, a prominent Chief from the Dodowa Traditional Area.
