Hearts seek double over Medeama?

Despite a disappointing 1-0 win over Medeama SC in the first leg of their friendly game last Sunday, Hearts of Oak Coach Herbert Addo, is  optimistic his hard work would pay off before the league starts.

Nonetheless, the outcome of their return leg at Tarkwa on Sunday should not demoralise fans as the team continues its rebuilding process to transform Hearts into a winsome side capable of taking the league by storm.

And although they laboured to pip Medeama, they are confident it would be a different tale at the Tarkwa T&A park with goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama, Kwame Kizito, Togolese import, Foovi Aguili and South African Shawn October set to dazzle Hearts fans.

From the Medeama point of view, this is a must-win encounter as the first leg defeat dealt a severe blow to their ego and a revenge would be on their mind come Sunday.

This has informed a change of strategy by Coach Prince Owusu, especially in his defence where they allowed the Hearts attack to run riot last Sunday.

In order to get the results, he must seal the loopholes at the rear and place a constant check on danger man, Kizito and Foovi who were often left loose and nearly punished Medeama.

Their partnership upfront could be deadly and on a good day, could prove a mouth full for any defence which Medeama must be cautious of.

The likes of Malik Akowuah, Akwasi Danso, Nathaniel Asamoah and Hans Kwofie could help strengthen the midfield and attack of Medeama to ensure they cut supply to the deadly duo, rendering them ineffective in the process.
