Naphu, real name Alinate Naphu Misomali, is a Malawian-born Ghanaian designer. Naphu defied her parents and dropped out of college in her native Malawi to travel to Ghana to study at the Joyce Ababio School of Fashion with an aim of becoming a designer.
Her story is one of sheer determination spurred on by the desire to excel. She speaks of the crave from childhood to enter the fashion business which was only quenched when she arrived in Ghana to study fashion.
