Inspector Bediako joins GMB as judge

In an interview with Showbiz, Oscar Provencal expressed excitement and commitment to the show.

“I am excited to be a part of this beautiful project, GMB has over the years produced responsible ladies who are doing well by contributing to the development of our society. I am proud to be associated with it and I am eager to see the competition start.”

Asked what the girls should expect from him, he said, “They should just be themselves, study, take the competition serious and have fun. For me as a judge, I am looking forward to be educated and entertained.”

It was a colourful and beautiful scene to behold when supporters and chiefs from the various regions of Ghana came in to rally behind their representatives at the launch.

Each of the 10 contestants entered the auditorium with a dance from the region they represented, after they took turns to greet the chiefs and supporters.

Dr Ziblim Barri Iddi, Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Arts Ministry also graced the event and assured organisers that his office is in full support of the pageant.

“We support what a you are doing and are ready to extend that to any other media outlet that brings out initiatives that seeks to promote culture and tourism.”

The General Manger of Media General Limited, Mr Ray Nkwe Owners of TV3 thanked patrons for being with them since the inception of the project.

“We are in our eleventh year and I want to thank you all for the support. As the catch phrase for this season is Straight Outta Ghana, we want to show the world what we have, our culture and heritage so at a point in the competition, the contestants will go out of the shores of Accra.”

Hiplife group, Wutah was in the house to thrill patrons  to some of their old songs and of course Bronya which is making waves.
