This marks a historic moment as Dr. Larbi becomes the first Ghanaian to serve on an ITF Committee.

Earlier in the year, Mr. Isaac Aboagye Duah, President of the GTF, nominated two individuals, including Dr. Larbi, for consideration as members of the Gender and Ethics Committee and Wheelchair Tennis Committee within the ITF.

Following an extensive selection process, Dr. Larbi has been appointed to the prestigious role of ITF Wheelchair Tennis Committee member. President Duah expressed his congratulations to Dr. Larbi, highlighting this achievement as a significant milestone in the realm of tennis.

He remarked, "These accomplishments reflect the progress made over the past five years, during which the GTF has strengthened its ties with ITF, CAT, the Grand Slam federations, and other top-ranked federations in Europe and the Americas."

Dr. Larbi and President Kenani of Kenya stand as the sole representatives from Africa, earning the opportunity to contribute at the international committee level.
