Achimota Squash Club records second successive win

Ghana's fastest-rising Achimota Squash Club has defeated Tema Squash Rackets Club by 5 matches to 4 in a Sono Squash Friendly hosted by the latter on Sunday.

The breathtaking encounter recorded the second successive victory for Achimota Squash Club following their triumph in the Elmina Open in March this year.

Veteran and international squash players who patronised the game were so grateful to Achimota Squash Club for raising the bar in the least-financed sport through their corporate partners Sono, Eastfield Foundation, Ankaa Tropical, Aseda Industries and Socialite.

The patrons further implored Achimota Squash Club to champion the involvement of young and female players to boost the prospects in squash.

Participants of the colourful event were treated to great tunes and refreshment as they networked in business and other opportunities as well.

The next Sono Squash Friendly Game will be a highly anticipated clash between Achimota Squash Club and Tesano Squash Club in September this year.
