Essence of Christmas

Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah

The Leader of the Church, Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, said the coming of Jesus Christ into the world was a demonstration of God’s compassion and love, thus it was the determination of the church to emulate God’s love.

“For us in Royal House Chapel, Jesus is our Lord and the one who died and brought us into union with God. We live because of Christ and we have a mission to share Christ with everybody everywhere in the world,” he said.

He said God’s love was demonstrated through preaching of the word, worship, music, food and drinks and care for the needy.

Act of giving

Party time

Apostle General Ankrah advised them to adopt the act of giving and show similar compassion to others, love one another and live in union with others.

He assured the participants that the church would continue to organise the event, and counselled them to desist from joining groups that might lead them into trouble, particularly in the run up to the general election this year.

The attendees were full of joy

On the upcoming elections, Apostle General Ankrah advised them to focus on voting for a candidate that would meet their needs and not those that incite them to violence.

“You must shun politicians who incite young people to violence. Reject them, don’t vote for them. Rather vote for politicians that speak peace, development and unity; they are the people you must vote for.

Compassion ministry

An Executive Pastor with the church, Rev. King Folley, said the event was to demonstrate the kind of love Christ had for them.

“As a ministry, we do not only care for the vulnerable during Christmas, but thrice in a year we visit the prisons to preach the word of God, fete and clothe them. We also organise outdoor crusade for people in rural areas of the country.

“We like to show love to people and tell them they are not lesser human beings and that the difference comes when Christ comes into their lives,” he said.
