Nine eye ‘Face of Ho Poly’ crown

The event slated for Saturday, May 14, will come off at the GM Afeti Auditorium and newly crowned VGMA Artiste of the Year, Elorm Adabla better known as EL will be in action.

The contestants for this year's edition of Face of Ho Poly are Ruth Emefa Odzor (Emefa), Bridget Ayensu (Bridget), Princess Ayi (Princess), Ayeh Angela (Angie) and Georgina Adikie Amediku (Gina).

The rest are Selina Frimpomaa (Selina), Dzifa Gifty Ahiadorme (Dzifa), Priscilla Dzidedi Adoboe (Diidi), Oquaye Elizabeth Yeboah (Tina).

As  it’s characteristc of beauty pageants especially campus based ones, the contestants will strut their stuff on the catwalk, showcase their talents and answer general questions from the judges on the night.

"This year's event is aimed at promoting the value of women in promoting peace before, during and after the November elections," Evans Kujo Kpodo, a member of the organising team told Showbiz.

"The lucky winner will walk away with a brand new laptop. The first and second runners-up will receive a fridge and micro wave respectively," he added. 

The 2016 Face of Ho Poly is organised by C-splash TV and the Ho Polytechnic Students' Representative Council (SRC) and supported by Mav TV, Royal Sounds and Trilion Media.
