Adisco celebrates NSMQ victory tonight

Musicians who have passed through the school, such as  Nana Fynn, Fiifi Selah,  JB Freeman and Omanba will perform at the 8.00 p.m. celebratory reunion which has been endorsed by the National Executive Committee of the Adisadel Old Boys  Association.

“The event is basically to congratulate the school on the brilliant performance at the quiz and also to help whip up more public interest in the contest. 

“So it is not just for Adisco boys. Gentlemen and ladies from all schools are invited,” said Dr Kwesi Owusu, one of the organisers of the programme.

A representative of the producers of the quiz  will be on hand to talk about its general impact  since it started in 1994.

The quiz is a television programme that seeks to promote the study of the sciences. It is popular with senior high school students as well as former students (old boys and girls) who take great  pride in the performance of their schools.
