Ghana defender Baba Rahman has completed a loan switch from English Premier League side Chelsea to German Bundesliga side Schalke 04.

The 22-year-old sealed a season-long deal after undergoing a medical this afternoon in Germany.
Rahman moved to Chelsea from Augsburg a year ago after signing a five-year contract with Chelsea.
He managed 23 appearances in all competitions and failed to impress new manager Antonio Conte during pre-season.
Rahman has been re-united with former Augsburg manager Markus Weinzierl who is now the coach of Schalke.
