We look forward to the next challenge — Milo

Black Stars coach, Milovan Rajevac, says his side is looking forward to the next challenge in the final round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Rajevac hailed the performance of his team and said they were going to work extra hard to ensure they book a ticket to next year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

A goal from the spot earned a narrow victory for Ghana over closest opponent South Africa to top Group G despite both teams finishing the qualifiers on 13 points.

At a post-match conference last Sunday, the Serbian tactician explained that they could have scored more goals from the numerous chances they created.

“It was a tough match but we got what we wanted and I am very happy about the results,” said Rajevac.

“This means a lot to us and we are looking forward to the next challenge and we are ready to work hard to book a ticket to the world cup,” he added.

“It is a collective achievement and I am happy we have qualified to the next stage of the qualifiers because that is what we went in for,” he pointed out.

Ghana are yet to know their opponent for the playoff as they look to book a fourth World Cup appearance in Qatar.
The Black Stars missed an opportunity to play in the previous edition of the World Cup in Russia.
