Kojo Antwi appreciates gift of song
On his first solo album titled ‘All I Need Is You’ which came out in 1986, Kojo Antwi has a song in there titled ‘Nyame Akye Me Adie, ’ which loosely translates as ‘God has given me a gift.’

Last week at the Oak Plaza Hotel in Accra, Kojo Antwi could not help making reference to that special gift from God after he was announced as the artiste to be celebrated at this MTN Legends and Legacy (LAL) Ball scheduled for Saturday, November 1 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Acknowledging his gratitude at the honour done him, the man thanked God for the grace of creativity and ability. He also thanked his fans for supporting him and always willing to embrace the gift of song that God Almighty blessed him with.
With three artistes already honoured for their immense contributions to Ghanaian popular music, Kojo Antwi becomes the fourth hero in the LAL series.
The musicians already celebrated are Daddy Lumba (2011), Amakye Dede (2012) and AB Crentsil (2013).
With his romantic love-infested songs, Kojo Antwi has over the years won many hearts with memorable tracks like ‘Akonoba’, ‘Groovy’, ‘Menya Ntaban’, ‘Medofo Pa’, ‘Odo Mayea’, ‘Meto Nko’, ‘Me Ndaadaa Me’, ‘Bo Me Nkomo De’, ‘Dadie Anoma’ and ‘Makoma Doctor’.
He was definitely happy to be made the artiste in line to be celebrated at the next MTN LAL Ball and his numerous fans would love to have him sweep them off their feet with his beautiful songs.
