The video, directed by Abraham Ohene Djan, is expected to hit the screens early next week.

Stephanie, who is not new to the Ghanaian music scene, said she decided to do a song completely in Twi to reach more of her fans.

Though she has recently released singles in this country, this is her first time of doing an all-Twi song.

Recorded and mastered in Ghana by multi-instrumentalist Kwame Yeboah, the single demonstrates Stephanie’s ability to effectively tell a story in Twi.

“I’m from this country and have a fan base here as well. It is good to have songs that show how I bond with my country and  fans. Abraham is doing some great work on the video and I know my fans will love it.

“I know a lot of people assume I can’t speak Twi at all. This is the time for them to see my other side,” she said.

The singer admitted that she enjoyed working with Yeboah and that she was happy they had brought out a great piece together.

Stephanie has many years of experience as a singer, performing mostly across Europe. She  makes herself available here for a variety of programmes whenever she has the time.

Last year, she released two singles, ‘Good Feeling’ and  ‘Goodbye’, at a live show at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

The videos for the singles were nominated for awards at the 2014 4syte Video Awards.
