Radio personality, Doreen Andoh, was last Tuesday thrown a surprise party by hiplife artiste, Tic Tac to mark her contribution to radio in this country.
Backed by sports journalist, Nathaniel Attoh, Tic Tac and some staff of The Multimedia Group praised Ms Andoh’s immense contribution to radio.
Tic Tac presented Ms Andoh with a citation for outstanding service to music here.
It read: “Your emergence unto the broadcasting scene spanning over two decades has been a blessing to my music and Ghana music as a whole. Your desire to work, coupled with unique niche carved for yourself, has made you a Queen of the Airwaves.
“It is for this reason that I, Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah, affectionately called Tic Tac, celebrate you, Doreen Wilhelmina Akua Andoh today. I wish you more blessings and good health in the years ahead.”
The rapper presented Ms Andoh with a curved television set , a cake and drinks.
In an interview with The Mirror, Tictac said when his first album came out, Doreen was one of the first radio personalities to interview him on his work and she had continued to support his music over the years.
According to Tic Tac, the party was also to acknowledge Ms Andoh’s 22 years in the radio business.
