This evening, all roads lead to the Accra Marriot Hotel, where one lucky young woman will be crowned Miss Ghana 2018.
Ten young women, representing the 10 regions of Ghana will vie for the coveted title and after going through some grooming sessions, they are all ready to impress.
The 10 contestants include Nana Ama Benson (Central Region), Nana Yaa Owusu Achempem (Eastern Region), Anita Nana Addai (Ashanti Region), Laila Issaka (Northern Region) and Veronica Sarfo Adu Nti (Upper West Region).
The others are Peggy Ohene Agyekum Boateng (Brong Ahafo Region), Elizabeth Mary Maclean (Western Region), Vera Seyram Selase (Volta Region), Juliet Afinaomi Mokpokpo Gonuh (Upper East Region) and Mingle Aku Rhoda (Greater Accra Region).
The girls will go through several rounds of competition where they will exhibit their talents while judges will also assess their intelligence, poise and confidence.
Inna Maryam Patty, CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, organisers of Miss Ghana, told the Daily Graphic all is set and patrons will have a great time.
“Come witness 10 beautiful, intelligent, passionate young ladies with a common goal to serve Mother Ghana. Doors open at 7pm for photo opportunities and the event begins at 8pm sharp,” she said.
The evening will also be spiced by performances from Uber Driver hitmaker, Wendy Shay, saxophonist, Steve Bedi and veteran Highlife performer, Gyedu Blay Ambolley.
