Rulers made up of Star Boy (Nii Akwei Bonsu) and Saint One (Reuben Alhassan Mahama) described "beefing" in the industry as "childish" and urged both rappers to unite to enable upcoming acts learn from them.

Signed under the record label, Rulers Empire Forever, the duo said artistes are supposed to be there for each other in order to make them stronger.

In a chat with the Graphic Showbiz, the duo, who seemed concerned about the recent development about "beefing" in the industry said, “We are not happy with the beefing between Sarkodie and M.anifest because this will breed unhealthy relationship between them and the industry.

“As you know, musicians have a lot of fans who see them as ‘gods’ and as such, this unhealthy relationship could affect their fans and the upcoming young artistes in the industry,” they added.

For Saint One who spoke on behalf of the group, said the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) must take pragmatic steps to resolve the issue since it could trigger unnecessary tension in the industry.

“For a start, it could look like a petty issue but we have been witnesses of such rivalry in other countries that ended on a bad note,” he stated.

The duo, who already have songs such as Your Body ft. S.K Blinks, Party Sem, Lazy Daizy and Yaayi ft. Akatakyie and Lay-G Vybz called on their fans to embrace their new song titled, Akweley. The video of Akweley was recently released.

“We are grateful to Crownzy Beatz and Geo Beatz for their support in our career so far,” he stated.
